Erling Haaland has joined the Premier League’s elite circle by scoring 100 goals, becoming the 35th player to reach the milestone. He achieved this landmark with the opener in Manchester City’s match against Fulham, making him the fastest to the century, doing it in 111 appearances and surpassing Alan Shearer’s 1995 record by 13 games.
Haaland’s current Premier League goalscoring rate stands at 0.90 per game. Looking ahead, he could challenge Shearer’s all-time record of 260 Premier League goals, a tally that was established when the league split from the English Football League in the 1992-93 season.
City’s agreement with Haaland, announced in January, is a record 9.5-year deal spanning through the 2033-34 season.
