Safety tips

  • When out trick-or-treating, especially at night, consider wearing highly-visible or bright-colored clothing. This helps cars see you crossing the street.
  • Note that while your costume may include a mask or face-covering, it is likely not as effective in slowing the spread of COVID-19 as a mask you would normally wear for that purpose. Trick-or-treaters, especially those who expect to spend time indoors, should consider wearing a mask designed to slow the spread of COVID-19 in addition to whatever mask or face-covering that may come with their costume.
  • Parents should consider inspecting candy before their children eat to ensure it is safe.
