Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our innovative and progressive Renal Medicines Service.
You will play a vital role in patient care from our base in Morriston Hospital. You will work alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and our ATO, and the wider renal MDT. You willbe responsible for the safe receipt and storage of medicines on relevant wards and clinical areas, including dialysis units.
You will dispense medication for people with kidney disease across the South West Wales renal region.
You will use pharmacy and other digital systems to coordinate the flow of work through our medication storage and distribution service. You will also provide training to team members and contribute to the development of efficient ways of working.

- Use pharmacy and other computer systems to carry out tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Contribute to a safe and efficient renal pharmacy service while delivering the highest quality patient care
- Assistwith the training of staff in the department
- Participate in rotas for bank holiday, weekend and extended hours working
